who hit the fast forward button while i wasn't looking?

i've just become acutely aware of the fact that i only have nine days left before i leave for school. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. and that's all i have to say about that. in the past few days  i've had great adventures.  my mum and sister and i returned from june lake safe and sound.  i went to disneyland for two days with fifteen of my best friends and it was EPIC. and i mean EPIC.  (note the stylin headgear. :] ) i also  got to go see an awesome concert of les miserables at the hollywood bowl for my best friends birthday. (note the ridiculous feather boa and crown.hee hee) and that was amazing and awesome.  
right now my entire life is topsy turvy. the next few days are packed to the max, full of adventures, friends, family cupcakes, and i anticipate kleenex will be in order.  my mum asked me today whether i ever had any second thoughts about going away.  i didn't have to think. as scary and nerve-wracking and heart-breaking as this whole deal is for some of the people in my life, myself included sometimes,  i've never once thought i wasn't going.  i'll probably end up completely overworking myself as usual, but i'm going to love every painstaking second of it. i guess some people aren't like that, but for me, as cliche as it sounds i really do want to learn. and i'm so excited.  and in about a week i'll be driving off into the rising sun and saying "hey, wake up to the rest of your life, cos you're going places."  okay okay, so maybe that was TOO cliche. but i did warn you.  oh, college.  how far away you seem and how close you really are.  i still feel like a little girl sometimes to be honest. and i'm kind of okay with that. and if anybody's expecting me to grow up anytime soon, they're certainly going to be disappointed. :] i'm packing up my blankie, and going to college! i'll be thinking of you all. love love, from me.
